Overall Australia won the Asia Pacific Cup for the third year running.
Belle and Claudia – represent Australia in the Asia Pacific Sprint Kayaking Cup.
After their very successful campaign back in March 2023 at the Sprint Kayaking National Championships, Claudia Ketteringham and Belle McBennett were selected to represent Australia in the Asia Pacific Sprint Kayaking Cup, held at Lake Karapiro, New Zealand in April 2023. Along with their support crew and team, they set about 4 days of solid competition, racing against athletes from New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.
The Australian Kayaking Sprint Team put on a dominant display, winning an impressive 39 gold medals, 33 silver medals, and 21 bronze medals over the four days of racing, of which Claudia won 2 Gold and 4 Silver and Belle winning 2 gold and 2 bronze.
Overall Australia won the Asia Pacific Cup for the third year running.
The girls performed fantastically under immense pressure and strong competition, they did themselves, their families and Australia proud!
