Member Courses
Members have the opportunity and are encouraged to attain surf or first aid related awards. These provide a great opportunity to learn new skills while meeting other new members.
Member courses currently scheduled for 2024/25 season
Please click on the respective registration links in the below table to register for courses. If a course has a fee, the payment can be made through our payment gateway links below. Assessment dates are tentative pending weather, candidate capabilities and if required skills have been achieved by respective assessment dates.
IMPORTANT NOTE: TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE REQUALS and COURSES
As part of the effort to increase awareness and help improve inclusiveness, social responsibility and safety, the SLSA Board has taken the initiative to create an online course highlighting Sexual Harassment. For the coming season, as part of the skill maintenance, all members with Awards will be required to complete a short online module. It is encouraged that all members 13 years and over complete the course.
To access the module ‘Sexual Harassment and Misconduct Awareness’:
- Login to the Members Area
- Click on ‘eLearning’ (top menu)
- Click on ‘Login to eLearning’ (red button)
- Select ‘Training Library (left menu)
- ‘VIEW COURSES’ in the ‘SLS – Safety and Wellbeing’ tile
- ‘ENROL’ in the ‘SLS Sexual Harassment and Misconduct Awareness’
Allow approx. 10-20 minutes to complete.
