Surf sports coaches play a crucial role in developing, inspiring and leading athletes to achieve their goals in Surf Life Saving competition and beyond. For members who are interested in providing coaching services or who would like to attain a coaching accreditation, we would love to hear from you! Contact our Coaching Manager to discuss your options.
Officials ensure competitions are run in a safe and secure environment while maintaining rules and regulations. From simply recording results at a Club event to marshaling and starting events at State Championships. It’s the best seat in the house, so to speak. With the volume of competitors we have at events, we are always in need of officials to assist. If you can assist, we’d love to hear from you and can provide mentoring along the pathway, please contact our Competition Manager to discuss.
Some of our best lifesaving work happens away from the beach. From educating about surf safety to providing first aid training to our large club membership to anyone in the workplace, home, or community. If you would like to explore the options of developing your surf skills or first aid training, then we would love to hear from you. Please contact our Education Manager to discuss.
Age Managers work with nippers between the ages of 5 and 13, to develop their surf lifesaving and sport skills, by providing fun, safe and organised nipper activities. All resources including lesson and activity plans are provided. If you are interested in becoming an Age Manager or Assistant, we would love to hear from you – please email the Development General Manager.
Team Managers work with nipper, youth, senior and masters competitors, at all levels of surf sport competition (i.e. club, state, national and international). The primary purpose of Team Manager is to efficiently and effectively manage the team during a particular surf sport event. We would love your support with this invaluable role for our competitors – so please contact our Competition Manager if you are able to assist!
