SunSmart WA Surf League 2021
Hopefully, athletes wanting to participate in the SunSmart WA Surf League are all over this – however, there has been a bit of additional information that has come from SLSWA!
Due to the beach conditions, Surf League will now be held at North Scarborough Beach. Entries close on Monday 22 November 2021 at 11.59pm

No late entries will be accepted for individuals past Tuesday 23 November 2021. There is an increase in fee of $10 for any entry on that Tuesday, beyond that, it’s too late. Members are required to enter each individual event they wish to go in. This cannot be changed on the day. Check your confirmation email and if there are any issues contact before the event. Entries are not something that clubs have control over any longer.
With regards to team events, our Surf Sports Coaches and Managers will meet to put together teams once individual entries are closed. We will be using performance data from carnivals and points days to assist with selection along with how athletes are training.
Surftec Bands
This is now the fourth season with the use of Surftec bands. SLSWA is no longer providing free bands at events. You can get bands from the club should you need one. This will need to be prearranged with Dawn.
If bands are forgotten on the day you will need to purchase one from the Admin Van/tent for $7. Payment can be paid by card only. While we are on the topic of bands, no band no result policy is being introduced! Any competitor that races without a band will not be recorded for a result at the finish. The position will be recorded as ‘No Band’. Having said that, you are all pretty good at having bands, so keep it up!
