I hope all is well.

It goes without saying another busy week/weekend ahead for the Club. Just a few reflections, news and reminders from me.

State and Australian Surf Rowing League representatives

Once more, all the best to our crews representing WA (and Mullaloo) at the State and Australian Surf Rowing League events in Bulli NSW.

Nippers body boarding

Walking the beach last Sunday it was great to see a few waves around. Not too hard, not to soft. One of the great sights was a Nipper group doing Body Boarding. Plenty of parents in the water supporting; Nippers being taught to catch and being put on waves; plenty of smiles and loads of involvement and participation. It was a great sight and epitomised for me what it was all about. Fun, activity, water awareness all in a safe environment. Thanks to the nippers and the group in general for the moment

Abalone again

Last weekend saw the last of the Abalone patrols. Continued thanks to the Lifesaving team and numerous volunteers for making this happen.

Sunsmart Surf life Saving Championships – Lifesaving

What an amazing start it was to the State Championships season with multiple medal winning performances. Medals aside it was a great turn out for Mullaloo at the event. Participation is the most important feature of these events. Medals are great, but giving it a go and trying your best is the goal. As we move towards more State Championship events and of course the Aussies, please get involved, practice hard and enjoy the experiences they provide. Remember ‘ the more you practice the luckier you get’.

Clubroom Air-con systems

If you see some crane action happening around the Club on Wednesday 22^nd February, that’s because two new air conditioning units (x2) for the Club Lounge are being installed. This may impact some parking spots, but given it’s a Wednesday and from 6.30am, we are not expecting too much drama or impact for members.
