Little Nipper Carnival @ Quinns Mindarie

Quinns Mindarie hosted an awesome Little Nipper Carnival on Sunday. The conditions were perfect on the water -nice and calm and not too hot on the beach!

Mullaloo were well represented with 68 of our U8’s and U9’s competing. The AGMs had done a fabulous job with the organisation of the Nippers pre carnival and then keeping on top of the logistics at the carnival itself. What was most impressive was the sportsmanship and camaraderie of the groups.

All of the Nippers showed a huge improvement on the water from the Sorrento competition. It was great to see the competitors go round and position well but it was equally great to see the effort and determination of the athletes who  placed further down the pack.

Thanks to our Water Safety volunteers, it made the water arenas so much easier to run with the fantastic number of orange shirted Mullaloo members! The next competition for the Little Nippers is the country Carnival in Bunbury on 28 January then the State Championships will be on our very own beach on 26th February.
