IRB Drivers (Silver Medallion) Course
Learn to effectively drive and manage an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) in surf rescue operations
DETAILS:
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively drive and manage an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) in surf rescue operations.
DATES & TIMES:
The course will run for approximately 8 weeks, starting Tuesday 2 May 2023.
Theory component will be held Tuesday evenings at MLSLSC Training Room 1 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm for the first 4 weeks.
Practical component will be held Saturday mornings from 7.30am till 11am. Meet in the Boatshed. Additional training on Sunday mornings will be offered during the course as required.
Tentative Final Assessment Date: Saturday 1 July 2023 (7.30am-11am approx.)
