Bethany Bamforth, Lachlan Bean, Emerson Cheeseman & Ethan Rapley represented Mullaloo in the Champion Patrol event. Competing against Sorrento, Swanbourne and Scarboro. The Mullaloo team were keen to build on their silver medal at states and 4th place at Aussies from last year and didn’t disappoint. Winning gold and securing their place at Aussies. A big thank you to Angus Brierley for being a patient and to Mark Hills for officiating as an assessor.
The champion lifesaver event grew in numbers this year with nearly 60 competitors attending from 8 different clubs. Mullaloo competitors attended after weeks of training and studying to test their lifesaving theory, live patient assessment, resuscitation, swim, tube rescue, board and sprint skills.
