Bunbury Country Carnival
A huge shout out to all families and members who took the trip down Forrest Highway to partake in the Bunbury Country Carnival.
A huge shout out to all families and members who took the trip down Forrest Highway to partake in the Bunbury Country Carnival. Competitors, Officials and Supporters alike had a great time in fantastic conditions. There cannot be many sports that hold a competition event that includes 7-year-olds through to Masters. It’s a great opportunity for the younger competitors to see what it looks like when they get older. In the Little Nippers event, we had girls in awe of the Surf Boat racing with many saying that they were “Going to do that when we are older!”
The weekend was hot and that called for adjustments to the program but everyone who went down to race did Mullaloo proud, however many races they did. Results are not really what the Country Carnival is all about, but you can access them below.
Bunbury Senior & Nipper Country Carnival Results
What is special about this event is the friendships that are forged during and post-competition. There was a good turnout at a “debrief’ in Koombana Bay and it was so good hearing all the stories from the different age groups.
