Some of our young members recently attended Youth Camps run over the school holidays which focussed on skill-building.
The TOAD Camp (Teamwork, Opportunities and Development) was run over 4 days based at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp in Hillarys. Four Mullaloo representatives from our U15 Age Group (Liam Harris, Donnacha Murphy, Bethany Bamforth and Ruby Smith) were chosen to attend the camp. They were involved in a number of skill-building activities designed to enhance and encourage development in both surf life saving and the broader community.
All four said they really enjoyed the experience and appreciated the opportunity to attend the camp. They loved meeting and becoming friends with so many kids from all different surf clubs across WA.
We look forward to seeing these amazing youth representatives using their new skills to make a positive difference in our community.
