The Weekend in Geraldton

Our Mullaloo Country carnival  contingent were in full swing at the Grand Parade held on Pages Beach Friday 26 Jan.

After the strong gusty winds and wild water early in the week Geraldton turned on the calm, the sun and rideable waves for Friday and Saturdays events. The beach was flat for the beach events, and with the wind at their backs some quick sprints were held. On Saturday, it was rewarding to see all our athletes attack the waves with great bravery and skill. Pretty sure there were top results across the board based on the number of smiling Mullaloo faces. Everyone pitched in with water safety, board transport and tent setup / packup. All were rewarded with fantastic hospitality from the Geraldton club and a great “Hawaiian” themed night was enjoyed by all. Thanks Ger
