The Kahuna Continues…
Well done to everyone that joined in and had a go.
It was a magic morning to kick off our first event for the season. The Dave Wilson Kahuna has been running for many years in loving memory of an amazing Life Member to the Club, Dave Wilson.
It was a fairly challenging course where athletes were to complete 2 legs of the race. The legs could be made up of Ski, Run, Swim, Run, Ski, Board, Run, Swim, Run, Board. If athletes didn’t want to board and ski, they could choose one or the other.
We had 43 registrations ranging from some U14’s that had never even been on a mal board, to our amazing masters on skis and everything in between! It was so great to see everyone in the water together. The conditions were definitely in our favour.
Although this event is really just a bit of fun, we can’t not acknowledge some top athletes!! Well done to everyone that joined in and had a go.
