Sweeps over east!

5 of our members went over to NSW in August to attend the annual sweep academy at Palm Beach SLSC, NSW.

The ASRL National sweep academy had over 70 sweeps from around the country participate in a 2 day series of workshops at Palm Beach SLSC in Sydney.

It was great to have Jack Barrett and Jack Grant step up and have some of the country’s best in surf boat sweeping provide them with tips and skills needed to help them get to the next level.

Experienced Mullaloo boaties and club mentors, Stuart Clarke, Sandy Clarke & Duncan Gemmell also attended to trade tips with others, pass on their wisdom & to absorb new knowledge.

Thanks also to SLSWA for providing a subsidy to assist in travel expenses.
