Sunsmart Nipper Qualifiers

What a busy beach we had this weekend! The Nipper State Qualifying carnival saw Nippers from U10’s to 13’s from far and wide around the state aiming to get a spot in the final rounds of a number of events. Saturday it was Flags and Beach Sprints on the beach and Board Rescue on the water. Sunday, just the Board and Iron races. Conditions were good for racing and we had a good number of our Nippers gaining a spot for the State Championships at Trigg Beach on 4th March for beach events and water events on the 18th and 19th of March. We also have reserves ready to go if the occasion arises – fingers crossed! Congratulations everyone for the amazing effort that you put into your racing, you should all be proud of what you achieved , wherever you were placed. AGM’s were once again magnificent in their commitment to their groups. Thanks you to any one who helped out in any way, set up, pack up, officiating  – it all adds to a successful event.
