Sunsmart Little Nippers State Champs

What an amazing day we had on Sunday hosting the Sunsmart Little Nipper State Championships. The event was a huge  all round success from many points of view. The Working Party for setup and pack up were fantastic, the level of volunteer support ensured that the carnival was able to run smoothly with everything ready to go well before the start and a fairly swift pack down. On to the best part, our awesome Little Nippers! The Little Nippers are led by a great team of AGM’s and AGMA’s and the good sportsmanship and camaraderie of the Nipper groups are a result of the values that the Team have fostered. The conditions were perfect, not too hot on the sand and the ocean was calm with some lovely waves to catch when they popped up.

Special mention to our Board State Champion Heidi Wynyard

Heat, semi and final dominating in every race. Well done champ.

I was also blown away with our super swimmers Lily, Mya, Madalene, Madison who all made the final.

Harper Mountjoy taking out the gold and Hugo Rees taking silver in an all Mullaloo final 2 Great sportsmanship shown by both.

2 Boys making it through to the final with William Rees taking out 4th and Harper Mountjoy snagging a bronze.

Final Swim Race was Jai Carroll, Flynn Sneddon and Jack  Lee taking out the bronze.

Finishing off with the board race with 9 boys entered from Mullaloo. Leon, Blake, Ethan and Harper making the semi finals
