Round 5 of Surf Boat Carnival

Saturday 10th February saw the Round 5 surf boat carnival head north to Quinns SLSC.

With a scorching temperature of 41̊ and a flat ocean, it made conditions tough for the rowers. The carnival was filled with varying agenda’s for our Mullaloo crews, preparing for a packed & important calendar ahead.  It was a last “Hit out” for our 2 x U19 crews before they headed to Lorne, Victoria for the ASRL opens.  There were mixed crews to gain valuable race experience in different positions & also the debut of a young rower (Sophia) who is the first to come through our new youth program!
