Nipper Officials Needed
Officials are a vital part of carnivals and as a club, we are committed to sending officials when we enter our Nippers. This is done on a 1 official to 10 entries ratio.
It is vital that we build a group of officials to support the club at carnivals. The worst-case scenario is that if we have insufficient officials then our Nippers are withdrawn from the carnival.
To be an Official at a Nipper Carnival you need a Core Official Accreditation. This is relatively simple to achieve! There will be an opportunity to come down to the clubrooms on Wednesday, 1 December at 7pm to get you started.
It is essentially an online course followed by a practical assessment at one carnival to achieve accreditation. You will need a laptop and a card to pay for the course which is refundable once you are fully accredited and have represented the club at carnivals.
