Nipper Carnival @ Leighton Beach
Leighton Beach was the place to be on Sunday!
The water was perfect, that amazing blue colour and so clear, you could see over to the Wadjemup Lighthouse. There were big container ships hanging in Gage Roads, a parasailer, IRB’s, jet skis and to complete the picture the Leeuwin sailed past. It was a teams carnival and hats off to the AGM’s for a morning of sorting Nippers into their teams and the Nippers for fantastic listening! The support that the Mullaloo teams gave each other was fantastic. Everyone gave their best and had a fabulous carnival.
We had an incredible turn out for the under 10 girls. Each and every one of the girls gave 100 percent effort which resulted in some awesome placings. We took out 2nd in both the Surf teams and Cameron relay, and the girls definitely won the spirit cup with their supportive cheering for each other. The amazing conditions led to a fun day for all. Thank you to the organisers, officials and all other volunteers for helping this event to take place.
