Message from the President

Hi Everyone

It’s an exciting week as the season takes off with our first Club day this coming Sunday!

It will be great to see you all down there. The weather is looking good(ish)…

As the season takes off, I would like to also welcome all new members to the Club. We are having a casual welcome evening this coming Friday. Come down, have a drink, bring your nibbles or order from Swell and enjoy the facility and ease your way into the weekend.

I would also like to acknowledge the Dave Wilson Kahuna this coming Saturday. Dave sadly left us 5 years ago. He was a treasured Life Member and the classic ‘heartbeat’ of the Club. Annually the Kahuna pays tribute to Dave. The event kicks off at 7.30. It’s a Board or Ski, Swim, Run event. A challenge but doable. Good training, which is the origin of the course. That said, you can mix it up and do what you feel comfortable with. The main goal is to remember  a treasured friend and Life member.

I would like to acknowledge all those who have already been down on patrol. Thanks for this early season work, and I hope to see new and old patrolling members down on patrol as their roster kicks off.
