Message from Club President, Andy

Hi Everyone

I hope all is well.

As per last week, I mentioned that the summer season and all that goes with that, is slowly arriving.

Thank you to those who organised and attended the Youth Camp last week. It is great to see this event back on the calendar after a short hiatus.

I understand our youth members represented us well and were fully immersed in the activities and events organised as part of the camp.

Our patrol season began last week, in mixed weather. Thanks to those patrolling members who started the season off.

This weekend promises to be a cracker at the club. Thanks to the forecast weather and it being the final weekend of the school holidays it should be busy.

I look forward to seeing patrolling members back on the beach again this weekend. Thanks in advance.

Some great turn outs for our Annual Grand Final events (AFL and NRL). Thanks to all those who organised the events. The AFL event has been around for many years now and we very much appreciate the work that goes into the events, thanks.

There is a lot of work underway in the various areas of the club. Plans for Sunday morning club days are well underway; the Beach Mat crew are getting themselves organised; social events are in the planning; Membership renewals are highly active (please renew if you have yet to); some Education events are already ‘sold out’; and the various sporting areas are enjoying great numbers at training (with a couple of events happening soon).

The weather seems to be coming to the party – slowly.

Please get involved in some way shape of form.
