Hi Everyone,

I hope all is well.

The Club is immensely proud of its members and are pleased to announce that five members have been honoured with Surf Life Saving Australia National Medals.
National Medals are a prestigious award, part of the Australian honours system, recognising long and diligent service by members who risk their lives or safety to protect or assist the community in times of emergency or natural disaster.

Congratulations to the following recipients who will be recognised and awarded at the Club’s Annual Awards Dinner in May 2024.

Happy Festive season

As we draw towards the end of the year, with schools finishing and people starting to travel and get ready for the festive season, I’d like to take the opportunity to say thank you for the contributions that you have made to Mullaloo Surf Lifesaving Club

We broadly work in a respective and enjoyable environment, and that is to the credit of our members. Whatever your involvement (patrol member, volunteer, educator, competitor, parent, etc etc) we are all working towards one goal – ‘No Loss of Life’.

Have a happy and safe festive season with those you love.

Mullaloo Groynes and the CHRMAP proposal

The Board of Directors are delighted with the outcomes of the recent City of Joondalup meeting last Tuesday. I know that many club members have been strong independent advocates against ‘the groynes’.

The Board of Directors responded clearly on behalf of the club based on the impact on Lifesaving services and provision, and we are delighted that these issues have been considered in the broader decision making.

Looking forward to seeing you all down the beach this weekend for the Ted Scott Marathon and all that goes with it.

Happy Holidays

Regards Andy
