Little Nippers in Leighton

36 of our U8’s and U9’s headed to Leighton Beach for the second Little Nipper Carnival.

It was an early start so the event wasn’t affected by hot sand and the ocean was nice and flat with the off friendly wave rolling in. It was a great opportunity for our Little Nippers to build up all round carnival skills and etiquette.  Marshalling for an event, listening to the course instruction, lining up on the start line, following the start commands, completing the course correctly, playing fair, finishing hard and lining up at the end in the correct order are essentially the experience that the carnivals for these age groups are aimed at.

It was all heats, no finals and everyone gave it a good go!

Thanks to the AGMs, AGMA’s and parents who supported the competitors and to the Officials. It was an awesome and fun morning!
