Fantastic medal results
Saturday & Sunday 11th & 12th February – States Surf, Youth & Open
Near perfect conditions at Scarborough beach for both days of competing! Little swell in the morning & sea breeze coming in around lunch on Saturday made it a little tougher, with action wrapping just before 3pm. Sunday conditions also perfect, finishing at lunch time.
The arenas were filled with nervousness & excitement. Early warm ups helped to ease the nerves & settle in for the day. Lots of great sportsmanship was seen over the weekend with plenty of cheering from athletes, parents & supporters.
Lots of competitors made it through to Finals – well done. You all made our Club proud!
