We’ve been involved with Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club since 2006.

You might say our whole family “dived in”! Over the years I’ve been an Age Group Liaison, then Age Group Manager, Trainer & Assessor, Nippers Board Coach, Masters Competitor (Board & Ski), MC’d various events including our annual Ted Scott Marathon, Board Director and Vice Captain of my Patrol.

I qualified for my SCR in 2011 and a Surf Coach that same year. In 2014 I achieved my Bronze Medallion and by 2015 I was well and truly hooked with coaching kids on boards, so then qualified as a Development Coach. There’s nothing more gratifying than being involved in our Mullaloo Surf Life Saving community and I’m immensely proud of the contribution we all make in belonging to such an organisation.

To witness, and be part of, a child’s journey in developing to become competent in the water is hugely rewarding. Being part of something bigger than oneself is even more so!
