Back 2 the Beach
We danced the night away...
What an awesome night to start the season with the Back to the Beach Party. Club members from Youth to masters and every age in between partied the night away to the awesome music provided by DJ Mark.
Party goers arrived dressed in their best “beach party” outfits. Best dressed Youth to Finley Simms, Finn Barrett, Jess Jones and Molly Grant. Best dressed adults Emma Bamforth and Glen Lyons. Party queen Julie Rapley won the limbo contest, with Dan Mratovich and Gen Crocket taking out the Youth title.
Who knew that Tracey Bartlett was such an awesome hoola Hooper? She gave the Youth winners Izayah Wakely and Jess Jones a run for their money !
The dance floor was on fire with everyone getting their groove on to the Nutbush and the Macarena The event organizers transformed the club with colourful Hawaiian decorations.
A special shout out to Paul, Julie, Cass, MJ and Zara for getting the ball rolling on this awesome event. Thank you also to the setup and pack up crew and food prep team – Nicki,Brenda,Cat, Sam, Raquel, Marcel, Linda, Mia, Annie , Nik , Tom, Abby, Gabby, Jo and Jay. Treslyn our bar lady- you are awesome
