Working With Children Check Application Process

If you are required to make an application for a Working with Children Check this is the Club’s process.

  1. Make enquiries at the Club office for a form. The forms have been dated and signed. If you cannot obtain a form during office hours (Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm) then please email the office, and ask for a form to be posted to you.
  2. Complete the form as directed and take it to an authorised Post Office along with the necessary identification for your 100 point check. Pay the fee, currently $11.
  3. Email the receipt to the Member Protection & Information Officer
  4. Email the receipt and your banking details (BSB Account number, Account name) to Accounts to facilitate the refund of the $11.
  5. When you receive your WWC Card ID please take a photo and send it to the Member Protection & Information Officer for uploading to your members account with the relevant details used to also update SurfGuard.
  6. While blank forms are available from the Post Office, the form is required to be signed by the Club’s MPI Officer before you can submit it, it is a much simpler process to arrange for a form from the office which is pre-signed.
