R1 Navy Surf Boat Series

Round one of the Navy Surf Boat series (WA) began on Sunday, with Mullaloo SLSC being the hosts on our pristine beach (In front of West View carpark).

It was a collaborated effort from all involved members to ensure it was setup, run & packed up smoothly. Thank you to all.

It was also great to see the youth get involved, assisting with logistics & water safety.

On the water, we had 7 Mullaloo crews participate (4 female & 3 male).

After a long winter of training, it was great to blow off the cobwebs & get back into sprint racing with some promising results.

U19 female final – Mullaloo Mermaids took out 2^nd place

U19 female final – Mullaloo Mako’s finished 3rd.

U19 Male final – Mullaloo Stormbringers claimed 1^st place

U23 female final – Mullaloo Usain Boat came in 3^rd place

In the open category;

Female “A” final – Mullaloo Usain Boat brought home 2^nd place

Female “B” final – Mullaloo Mermaids triumphed in 1^st place while Mullaloo Marlins came in 3^rd place!

Unfortunately Mullaloo Mako’s just missed the cut for a finals Beth.

Male “A” final – Mullaloo Stormbringers finished 5^th

Male “B” final – Mullaloo Gents came in 3^rd place

Mullaloo Rebel-Miner’z also just missed the cut for a finals berth.

Great to get the summer surf boat season under way, now our focus switches to the next carnival in 3 weeks (Nov 26^th) at City Beach.
