Quiz Night a Big Success

What an INCREDIBLE night!

The room was jam-packed full of love & support for Lachy’s Fundraiser.

Jeff Davidson & Dawn Jones did a FANTASTIC job of hosting the Quiz, with Jeff ramping up the fundraising with heads & tails and a very popular Whiskey Pong!!

Once a few drinks had kicked in, table representatives were tasked with a dance-off that would have given dancing with the stars a run for their money 😉

Prizes were flying out for Best Dressed Table, Bonus Questions, Dance offs, and other fun games.

Jeff was in his element, doing a live auction and engaging the crowd to up their bids. LOTS of money was raised and people walking away with some absolute bargains.

Darcey came up to the front and gave a lovely speech on behalf of Lachy’s family.

So the moment we have all been waiting for……as a result of our generous, caring & supportive members and friends from the community we have managed to raise just over $10,000 for Lachy’s 1st Fundraiser.

THANK YOU to EVERYONE who has donated their time to help out with the event, EVERYONE who donated money, prizes or auction items, to EVERYONE  who came to the quiz and to EVERYONE  who has helped to promote & those who have sent lovely messages of support.

A special thank you to Jeff & Dawn for hosting the Quiz night, to Mullaloo Surf Club for allowing us to hold the fundraising events and to Rob, Trevor, Nat & Phillipa Taylor who donated their wages from the Saturday night shift.

We truly have a very special club, that ALWAYS comes together in times of need. That’s what you call FAMILY.

We have 1 more fundraising event to go. Thrifty Treasures, on Sunday 1st August 12-3pm.
