Professional Swim Coaching Sessions

Pool Swim Coaching Spring/Summer 2022/2023
There will be another six pool sessions over spring/summer to continue with Kareena Preston’s swim coaching that Mullaloo Surf Life Saving club has experienced thus far.
Kareena Preston is a professional swimming coach. You may have experienced her exceptional skills through the Couch to 2km swimming series that Masters Swimming WA has been running across Perth. Kareena is a high performance coach that has coached national and world record holders and these sessions are aimed at club swimmers of all levels – particularly for the Masters set.
The sessions will be progressive (i.e. they will build on skills/training in previous sessions) so it’s recommended that you attend all six to get best benefit.
Kareena will provide an additional three written programs per face-to-face session to do on your own in addition to the in-pool coaching (total of 18 written programs).
Location: Craigie Leisure Centre outdoor 50m pool.
Time: Two sessions 1.45pm-2.45pm, 4.15pm – 5.15pm Saturdays. There will be two lanes reserved for each session.
Capacity: 32 people (8 people per lane)

Saturday 11th February 2023 (this is the weekend of Busselton Jetty Swim)

Cost: Package Cost is $180. Payment secures your place.
Payment includes face to face session coaching (six sessions) and additional 18 swim programmes written by Kareena Preston. Package excludes pool entry.

It is not essential to attend all six sessions (but is recommended to obtain maximum benefit!) however the cost remains the same and you will still receive the written programs. No refunds or credits beyond 1st October. The program details and communications will be done in a Facebook Group.
Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club will be paying for the lane hire. MSLSC paying for the lane hire will keep the costs down and will provide the club with an opportunity to access high level swim coaching.
Depending on Kareena’s availability, we may also be able to do additional open water sessions outside of this package – logistics to be discussed and decided.
