I’m going to start with mentioning how well our Mullaloo Nipper competitors conducted themselves over the weekend State championships.
I officiated in 2 arenas and Mullaloo were the only club where competitors came up at the end of the carnival and thanked the officials. A member from another club has posted our club Facebook page complementing our AGMs and Nippers. In chatting to members from other clubs during the week, the compliments continued in the same vein. This makes us immensely proud as a club to be acknowledged in this way. It is fantastic to be finalists and medalists but this feedback demonstrates why we value all of the competitors in Team Mullaloo.
Now for the other news. The final standings for the Nipper Championship placed us equal points in 2nd place with North Cottesloe
This is a fantastic result and shows that every point counts.
We are super proud to be the Fuel to Go and Play Nipper Championships Handicap Winner 2025. This means that we are recognised for making the biggest improvement in results across the events since last season. That is a credit to the hard work put in by all competitors, AGM’s, AGMA’s , Coaches and of course the support from our wonderful families.
Shout outs to our Officials (especially those on the super long Saturday) super excited to have Anais and Callie as Youth officials join the dedicated team. To the Water Safety teams, the AGMs and AGMA’s; huge thanks and especially to Pete Leeks for coordinating this fabulous group.
We had multiple medalists in the full range of Colours. The celebration in the club lounge on Monday night was full on. Lots of chinking and cheering and a great finale to a wonderful weekend of competition.
Keep a look out in the next news items for our results.
