A big weekend ahead for our Club with the Sunsmart Nippers Qualifiers at the beach on Saturday and Sunday

It’s a great opportunity for our youngest surf lifesavers to have a great weekend competing and practicing their skills. It is of course a big weekend from an organisational point of view as well.

If you have time to help and assist this weekend, please indicate your availability via our various Social Media pages which have call outs for help – Thanks in advance to all those who help across the weekend.

Good luck to all our Nippers. Enjoy the experience and always compete in the right spirit. Do your best, that’s all that counts.

Please note that there will be extra parking available on Merrifield just south of Tom Simpson Park

Patrol and lifesaving services

It will also be a big weekend for Patrols, given the expected high temperatures and the events above. Thank you to the various patrols on this weekend and all the other lifesavers who give up their weekend(s) to provide additional services at carnivals, abalone, swim events and triathlons, etc.

Mullaloo SLSC punches well above its weight in this area, as we not only have a busy beach ourselves (as per this weekend) but provide expertise and services at carnivals elsewhere in Perth. Thanks to all those who assist and help with these events, as well as regular patrol.

As I say, if you have time this weekend, please lend a hand and help the Nippers enjoy the weekend.
