Hi Everyone

I hope all is well.

Surf Lifesaving Clubs are a huge puzzle. There are multiple pieces, but the ones you can’t do without (in my view) are:

• Patrolling and lifesaving members
• Nippers and youth – the future
• Education

Over the last few weeks, the various parts of the puzzle have come together. Patrolling started two weeks ago; various educations events are underway; membership renewals are being finalised; and this weekend our younger members take to the beach.

Thanks to the Development portfolio, and especially Managers and AGM’s for getting the ‘train out of the station’ this coming weekend.

It was great to see such a great turn out for the Trainers and Assessors ‘refresh’ last weekend. These Trainer and Assessors are the key to education and the preparation of new lifesavers. Thanks for your contributions.

Thanks to the Patrolling members back on the beach last weekend, in good (Saturday) and then not so good / Ok conditions (Sunday)

Thank you to Membership for your ongoing work – processing, reminders, FAQ’s.

Part of the puzzle is help, support, volunteers etc. Thanks to all those who have already put their hand up to get Sunday Club days underway. Beach set up, The Shop, Sausage Sizzle, Water Safety, Patrol, etc etc.

Please make every attempt to help and put the puzzle together in what ever way interests you or gives you pleasure.
