Beach Mat Access
Did you know that Mullaloo Surf Life Saving volunteers manage the beach mat roll out and daily maintenance for the beach access mat.
The beach access mat has provided tremendous success, receiving positive feedback from both the public and members who appreciated the convenient access it provides from the car park to the water’s edge. Maintaining and caring for the mat requires a continuous effort from our membersThis dedicated working group of volunteers ensures the mat is safe and ready for use each day and continues to meet the needs of all users efficiently.
The maintenance group is a friendly, diverse group of volunteers who share a common passion to help people have access to our beautiful beach. The access mat allows anyone with difficulty navigating sand to reach the waters each. The beach mat roll out has been delayed due to the carpark and pathway upgrades however once completed the plan is for the group to roll out the beach mat for the season. We are looking for volunteers to assist maintaining the mat. This is a great opportunity to help our community whilst meeting fellow clubbies and enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the early morning. Post mat maintenance coffee and or ocean dip makes for a great start to the day. No experience needed and all equipment provided by the Club If your interested, please email
