Lifesaving – Our Beach

Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club provides a water safety and rescue ready service to the public.  This community service has been undertaken for over 50 years and primarily involves volunteer lifesavers patrolling our beach. Our role is to prevent people from getting into dangerous situations and rescue people in danger of drowning.

The primary area of patrol is within 400 metres of the Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club rooms.

Mullaloo… but where are you? A Guide to our Emergency Markers

Mullaloo Signs LocationsIf you or a member of the public require Emergency Services at Mullaloo Beach, adjoining parks or carparks, can you accurately determine “Where you are”? Commonly, the Emergency Service will require a street intersection to determine your closest location. This proved difficult from a beach or car park location, particularly for those who are not familiar with the area. To assist with this, the City of Joondalup have in place beach signage at the club and north to the northern end of Mullaloo Beach.

The Emergency Locator is on the top R.H.S of the new signs and are numbered sequentially starting at ML01 at the Surf Club and Car Park up to ML11 at the North Point. These signs are located commonly at the entrance to the beach paths to inform beach patrons. A map of the individual locations is below (click map to enlarge).

Please spread the word to members, family and friends about these important locators. You never know when you may need them!
