Important Information – Nipper Boards

All competition age junior members (under 10 to under 13) will be required to possess their own board.

Under 10 Competing members will use foamies, club borrowed or privately owned and do not need to lease these at this stage.

If you do not wish to purchase your own board for your child, you will be able to “Lease” a club board. We will be charging a $50 usage fee and a $100 bond/deposit. The bond will be returned to you upon return of the board in good condition. Any damage costs incurred at the time of the board’s return will be taken out of the bond. If you have repaired the damage yourself and the board is in reasonable condition upon return then the full bond will be returned.

THE COST OF THE BOARD LEASE IS $150 PER BOARD.

If your child is not in possession of their own board or a club leased board on club days or competition days, then club boards will be made available to them for their use, but these will only be the FOAM nipper boards, not fibreglass, regardless of age.
