ECU October Volunteers of the Month

Once again Mullaloo SLSC was lucky enough to have some exceptional nominations for the ECU School of Business and Law Volunteer of the Month.

Jude Harlow

What an amazing trainer. So filled with passion and enthusiasm it is hard not to be just as enthusiastic. So much knowledge to share and even more patience to spare! Jude gives up 6 to 8 weeks of her life for 2 hours on a Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday to ensure that the Bronze medallion recruits are well trained, and she does this a few times a year! This is real dedication and commitment. She is ably supported by Ger Noonan, an assistant trainer, who is just as enthusiastic and knowledgeable and will one day make a great trainer himself.

Rob Young & Anna Young

IRB, Board Rescues, Radios … you name it and Rob is your man. He is such a charismatic man and brightens up your day with his infectious enthusiasm. He has given up so much of his time to assist with the Bronze Medallion courses, teaching the recruits how to do board rescues and to deal with wet spinal injuries. Not to mention the time he devotes to the IRB.  He is well supported by Anna, who has an incredible knowledge and a cool, calm and collected way of delivering it. Together they make a dream team. Without people like them, this club would not be what it is today!

Harry Jones

It is always wonderful to see the youth stepping up! They are the future of the club. Harry was awarded for his assistance with the Nipper Pool Proficiency Swim Evaluations and also for helping with the Nipper Board Leasing. He was helped by Dawn Jones. Both have invested a lot of time in the club. Harry has also volunteered a lot of time at the club completing tasks as required. We look forward to the continued support from this enthusiastic young man!

Thank you to everyone who volunteers each month! We cannot do it without you!
