IRB Racing Aussies Wrap Up

Forty-five of our Revheads have returned from a successful jaunt over to Kingscliff. They experienced a bit of a weather shock with it being that full steamer wetsuits were not necessary for some events (yay)!  Credit to super coach Cameron Rapley for producing such a cohesive, diverse, successful and inclusive team. The biggest success for the team was the minimisation of technical issues and disqualifications as well as the way that they competed on a national level, building on the success they had at a state level and what they had achieved in the past.  Now to the official results …

Well done to all that competed in such a successful Aussies, our achievements and accomplishments are being noticed by those strong teams over east. We are now being targeted as a rising successful force to be reckoned with at the IRB national championships. A big thanks to the touring team super manager Laurie de Mamiel and our marshaling superstars Ashlyn Bulley and Carlo Tenaglia. Thank you also to Julie Rapley for your organisation of accommodation and food as well as Sian Millar and Glynne Bartle for their food help and photography skills, Glenda Stacey for her administrative skills and to all of the support crew for helping set up, pack up and helping out in so many ways. What a season that our IRB team had and a great way to finish off such an amazing year.
