Lifesaving Services

Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club provides a water safety and rescue ready service to the public.  This community service has been undertaken for over 50 years, and primarily involves volunteer lifesavers patrolling our beach. Our role is to prevent people from getting into dangerous situations and rescue people in danger of drowning.

The primary area of patrol is within 400 metres of the Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club rooms.

2011 / 2012 Patrols commence on the first Saturday in October and conclude on the first Sunday in April.  Patrols are conducted on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays within the patrol season. Patrol times are 9am to 3pm in October and November, 8am to 5pm in December, January, February, 9am to 5pm in March and 9am to 3pm in April.

Patrols cover 4.7kms of beach from Pinnaroo Point to Mullaloo North.

The Patrol Captain selects the least hazardous area of the beach for swimmers. This is the Red and Yellow flagged area.

Our objective is to maintain a safe beach and aquatic environment.
