A can­di­date who has demon­strated com­pe­tence in Defib­ril­la­tion Cer­tifi­cate is enti­tled to receive a state­ment of attain­ment for the unit of com­pe­tency PUAOPE010A Oper­ate a Semi Auto­matic Defib­ril­la­tor in an Emer­gency. Pre­req­ui­sites

A can­di­date must:

• Be a finan­cial mem­ber of Mul­laloo SLSC for the cur­rent season
• Be a min­i­mum of 16 years old on the date of assessment.
• Hold the unit of com­pe­tency PUAEME001A Pro­vide Emer­gency Care, OR
• A cur­rent SLSA Bronze Medallion/Certificate II in Pub­lic Safety (Aquatic Res­cue), OR
• A cur­rent SLSA Senior First Aid Cer­tifi­cate (CPR com­po­nent must have been updated within last 12 months).

Requal­i­fi­ca­tion

Mem­bers are required to requal­ify this award annu­ally. Requal­i­fi­ca­tions are con­ducted at the club.
