Equipment Ethics
- Nipper Boards and Malibu’s are both expensive pieces of equipment and must be treated with the utmost of care. Without appropriate approval, boards are only to be used for scheduled club days or associated training. Only Junior Club members are to have access to the junior equipment. One rule to remember is ‘If in doubt, don’t take it out’. Damaged boards will not allow us to effectively train for the forthcoming season. All damages must be reported to age group managers ASAP
- Boards are not to be used for individual use during invite only training sessions
- Intentional acts of vandalism, or theft of club property, building or equipment will result in disciplinary action being taken
Club Bathers
- Mullaloo club bathers, both Jammers and/or Speedo’s, are to be worn on club days, ocean training sessions , carnivals and state and national titles
- Board shorts are not an accepted form of SLS attire and are not to be worn while participating in SLS activities
- It is not recommended that club bathers are worn to Arena swim training, as they are not chlorine resistant
Club Cap
- Your club cap must be worn at all times during Mullaloo SLS club days, training sessions, carnivals and state and national titles
- No cap no participation (Age Group Managers discretion - group size and weather dependant)
Shower Rooms
- The shower facilities afforded to members are to be treated with respect and used for the provided purpose
- Do not take apart any of the shower head components or hardware
- Keep shower time to 4 minutes only. Do not waste our precious resource
- Do not turn the light switch off and on
- Keep the facility clean and respectable for all members to use
- Report any misconduct and behaviour to your age group manager, the junior director or committee member
- Failure to comply with the above will result in the family’s removal of access to these facilities
