| Bar Roster |
|
Remember the Bar and Lounge is run by VOLUNTEERS.
Any one interested in volunteering to pour a beer or two, learn new skills and meet some great people over the season please let us know.
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has volunteered their time to assist with the Bar Roster. Anyone unable to complete their allocated roster is asked to please organise a swap with someone else on roster.
The 'Bar Roster' is currently being revised and will be available soon.

LIQUOR LICENSING LAWS AND WHAT THEY MEAN - THE FACTS
Clubs licensed to sell, supply and serve alcohol on their premises must comply with the licensing laws. Volunteer bar staff are required to undertake the appropriate training. There are hefty penalties in place for non compliance with the new laws. In summary the new legislation now requires:
All persons engaged in the sale, supply and service of liquor on licensed premises to complete Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training.
- An approved bar manager to be present on the licensed premises at all times that the premises are open for trading
- All licensees and approved managers must undergo training in WA's liquor laws as well as responsible service of alcohol.
- All club volunteers working behind the bar will be required to complete training in Responsible Servicing of Alcohol (RSA).
Much has taken place to ensure Mullaloo is compliant with new legislation. We have several members registered as Approved Bar Managers for the Club who have completed the required training in WA's Liquor Laws. All our volunteer bar staff have completed the Responsible Servicing of Alcohol Training and been registered. We are currently negotiating further training dates for 2010-2011 to ensure everyone has an opportunity to complete and will advertise these dates once confirmed.
