Celebrate Guy Edwards — New Life Member

Guy EdwardsWelcome and congratulations to our newest Life Member Guy Edwards.

Guy became a member of the Mullaloo SLSC with his wife Cheryl and two sons Aaron and Brody in 1998.

Once Guy successfully received his Bronze Medallion he commenced a journey that over the past 19 years has encompassed many roles within the club from an Executive level to patrolling the beach as a voluntary lifesaver – which he continues to participate.

His resume is a testament to his strong volunteer ethic and adaptability across all facets of the club, and this is demonstrated by the awards that have been afforded to him by his peers.

More recently Guy has been a tremendous ambassador as an IRB driver and at the Australian SLS Titles which is a substantial effort involving many hours over many days. This was over and above his contributions as the Support Services General Manager for the Club at the time.

Life Membership is about special or distinguished service to the Club, so if you take the time to reflect on his personal contribution then without his generosity the Club may well be in a different place.

The following list is an overview of Guy’s contributions and achievements to date.
